Lewis County Burning Information

As of October 25th, the burn ban has been lifted.

You must obtain a 2-day burning permit from the Lewis County Burn Permit page. If you do not have the ability to print from the website, you are more than welcome to come to our station in Napavine, and we can print it out for you!

As a reminder, burning is not permitted within city limits or urban-growth areas of Centralia, Chehalis, Morton, Mossyrock, Napavine, Pe Ell, Toledo, Vader, and Winlock.

For more information on outdoor burning, visit the Southwest Clean Air Agency website. You will find information on current air quality, outdoor burn ban status, and what materials can be burned. You can even subscribe to SWCCA Alerts to be notified about current burning conditions.
